Jung Hee steps confidently into the Department of Acting Arts of NEA Building. Although this is her first day reporting, it's not her first time here.
Having passed the auditions and signed to a contract with NEA, she believes she has a bright future in the entertainment industry. She has her sights set as the top actress of Korea. Maybe it will happen soon, maybe she will have to struggle for years before that happens, but she knows it will happen.
No, it must happen.
She wavered a little when she saw a couple of familiar faces around. All her competitors in the auditions. Of course she wasn't the only one NEA signed up. They must be here to meet up with their NEA contact for orientation, just like her. A few of them seems to have already made friends with each other as they chatted enthusiastically.
But actors will be actors. Clearly, some of them are acting, pretending to be friendly and enthusiastic. Even before they start work, they are looking for openings to tear into their competitors.
They noticed her presence and she felt a number of eyes on her. Jung Hee flashed her best smile and lowers her head slightly in politeness. While they may not become 'friends', there is no need to make enemies on the very first day either.

Lee Jun was NOT having a good day. It was just one of those bad days when things just didn't go too well. Let's see...he tripped several times up and down the stairs...bumped into a tree after getting out of the car in the parking lot...and accidently poured coffee on one of the casting ladies. He was not expecting any luck after that. And he was right.
On the way to the fifth level, the elevator was so packed with people, Lee Jun couldn't squeeze himself through the tightly packed bunch, and missed the level stop. After the elevator went all the way up and then back down, Lee Jun forgot the level number and missed the stop...again. When he finally arrived at the right level, his head started to ache.
What happened after that, he couldn't quite remembered. Lee Jun was pretty positive he signed up for a movie audition just a couple minutes ago...and now it's time to go home.
But his head is just aching with pain. Lee Jun slept fine yesterday, and he hoped he didn't catch a code. Why can't he do anything right today? Just one...he would be content even if he could do one thing correct today...it's just...
BAM!
Without noticing, Lee Jun had collided into something...or someone. It better not be another tree.. thought Lee Jun. He rubbed his head quickly and looked up to see whom he collided into. "I'm so sorry about that." said Lee Jun apologitically to the young lady in front of him.

Jung Hee was carefully observing her new colleagues. That girl over there looks kind of ditzy, probably wouldn't get more than a supporting role of the nice but stupid friend. That guy over there actually looks kind of cute... but in a basement kind of way. He would probably be typecast as the intellectual geek.
She had signed up for a movie audition not too long ago, and no doubt all these people would, if they had not already, sign up for the same movie audition.
It was a great opportunity for newcomers such as them... as the director was looking for fresh faces and new talents, rather than banking on famous but highly expensive celebrities.
If she gets the role, this could be her break...
BAM!
// What the... //
Jung Hee turned to see the clumsy culprit - a young handsome man who looked so tired it seemed like he could just drop to the floor and fall asleep anytime.
// Is he... one of the new guys too? //
She smiles, despite feeling annoyed.
"It's all right," she said.
// Open your eyes and watch where you are going. //

"...so sorry..." Lee Jun muttered again. He felt so bad...and tired at the same time. He redeemed his breath and looked up at the young lady he accidently bumped into. She was fairly pretty, making Lee Jun feeling worse for his clumsiness.
"I'm so sorry..." said Lee Jun for the third time. Fourth? "Are you all right? he asked tirely, though not unkindly. This day seem to last forever. When will he ever get home and take a good, looong nap. There's also an important audition coming soon, and Lee Jun really wants the lead part. It's not exactly a huge production, but it would be a start.

// Is he a broken record or something? // Jung Hee wondered as the man apologised for the third time.
Does fatigue make someone a lot more repetitively polite? But every single passing second seems to make the man looks more tired and sicker. She hoped he's not driving.
"Yes I'm okay. Thank you for your concern," She replied. Reaching into her handbag, she pulled out a bottle of Vita 500.
"Here. You looks like you need it," Jung Hee said, offering Lee Jun the bottle.
