Its been 2 years after the battle in Forks, Washington, the Cullens have moved around throughout the long months. Finally, they settled in one place, Beacon Hills, California. While they were getting settled in their new environment, the younger looking Cullens, enrolled in the local high school. Alice came across a strange smelling boy, he looked to be about 17 years old. She suddenly became friends with the boy, named Scott McCall. Scott and his girlfriend Allison Argent, were suspicious of Alice and her family, one night when the moon was full, the Cullens were out hunting since they thought no more wolves would be around, they'd be safe to hunt in peace but they were all wrong. Scott and Derek were chasing after a hunter when they came across the Cullen family. They were all confused, who were the people standing before them?
